Last night at the Country Music Association Awards Taylor Swift cleaned up very nicely.

Swift won all four awards that she was nominated for, including Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year and Video of the Year.  Taylor made history by becoming the youngest person and the first female solo act in a decade to win Entertainer of the Year.  Swift, her ever so gracious self, brought her band up on stage to accept the award and thank them for all their hard work.

I think Taylor Swift is such a positive addition to the entertainment world, and has really brought country music to mainstream audiences.  She also seems like such a real girl, she announced last night that her album Fearless was “my diary and so to all the people who voted for me for this is a thank you for saying you love my diary because that’s the nicest compliment.”  She is so young, talented and honest and willing to completely put herself out there through her most intimate thoughts and turn it into beautiful music.  I think she deserves every award she has won!
