It seems that in today’s society people are no longer held accountable for their actions, even when that action includes having multiple affairs with young girls, humiliating your wife and children and embarassing the large company you represent.

Take a look at Steve Phillips, the former manager of the New York Mets and baseball analyst for ESPN, who was busted for having an affair with a young ESPN production assistant, resulting in immediate termination.  Instead of taking responsibility for his actions, manning up and acknowledging all the shame and public humiliation he has caused, instead he claims-wait for it- SEX ADDICTION!

Really Steve? You are gonna pull that card? So, let me get this straight,  you think that by claiming you are a sex addict we will all forgive your mishaps, understand that you lack complete self control and experience wild beast like urges when in contact with production assistant’s and you would rather choose sex with randoms over your family and friends?

I don’t think so pal.

I think this is the biggest cop-out I have heard in a really long time.  Yes, sex addicts do exist (Peter Cook) but just because you have an affair and ruin your family’s life does not a sex addict make, that is what we call stupidity.  It’s time that society stops making excuses for every single deed gone bad.  Some people are just a-holes and only think about themselves.  What’s next, rehab for people who only think about themselves and do bad things?  It’s time people start taking responsibility for their actions and learn to deal with the consequences.  Our society is morphing into this place where no one is held accountable for anything, blame is thrown around in every which way and excuse after excuse are laid out to get us off the hook.

I think it’s time we all take a step back and a take a look at the bigger picture and see the example we are setting for future generations.  Sex addiction can be a serious thing, when it is completely controlling and ruining your life, for some reason I have a hard time believing this was the case with Steve Phillips.

Man Up Buddy, you look ridiculous. 

Anna has been spotted outfit repeating (gasp!) a sin which most fashionistas find unforgivable.  But Anna the queen of all things fashion says, “I usually wear the same dress twenty times. I think it’s always fun to have something new, but it doesn’t mean that everything you already have in your closet has to be thrown out, you know? Recycle. It’s totally ok – I even recommend it.”

You hear that all you outfit repeaters (myself included)!!  If Anna Wintour, the mastermind behind Vogue and one of the most powerful women in New York and fashion says its ok to re-wear the dress you spent this months rent on, then please wear it everywhere!! Get your money’s worth ladies!!

I feel such a sigh of relief because there is nothing better then buying a new outfit and getting that euphoric, top-of-the-world, “I can do anything”, “I can be anyone” type of feeling when you know you look good and you feel good too, only to have it crash down the next morning when you realize you won’t be wearing that outfit again for a really long time because your friend took 200 pictures of the night and now they are all on Facebook….

But alas, what Anna says goes, so watch out world here come the outfit repeaters!

Looks like the Heene’s are in trouble!

Why would they fake something this serious and bizarre? Are they really that fame hungry?? Not only did you waste tax payer dollars but now your entire family looks like a bunch of idiots and the question of un-fit parents comes into play.  This is disgusting and horrible and these people should be reprimanded immediately.

Padma announced (or finally came clean) that she is pregnant, but is keeping the father’s identity a secret.

I ran into Padma at a Sotheybys event the other night and boy was she sporting a bump. Looking as gorgeous as ever, clad in a tight sequin Missoni gown, Padma politely declined answering any pf my questions or posing for photos with photographers.

It seems like she really wants to keep this whole pregnancy thing a secret… I wonder if the baby daddy is Tom Colicchio, or maybe that hot contestant Brian from the show…

Guess we will find out soon enough, but in the meantime, be a proud Mama Padma and show of that baby bump

Kim must have been really upset by all the media attention her sisters were getting, you know with Khloe having a surprise wedding after dating Lamar for a month, and Kourtney getting knocked up by ex boyfriend Scott.

Well looks like Kim has found a way to steal back the limelight by getting back together with New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush. The two dated for a couple years and amicably split up in July to “get their priorities figured out” and “figuring out who they were as individuals” so that they could make their relationship work.

I am rooting for this couple, I think they are both so good looking, look great together, and really seemed like they love eachother. I hope it works out, but I also hope they take there time and don’t rush anything (ahem Khloe).

The couple is said to be getting $300,000 for exclusive pics of their big day…that’s a lot of dough!

Makes me wonder how long this whole marriage thing is going to last though! If you already have plans to exploit your relationship this early in the game, what’s next, a reality tv show? Oh wait you already have that so never mind, you should be used to cameras invading your personal life by now.

So I felt really bad when she got her little pooch snatched by a coyote!

The loss of a pet, specifically a dog is extremely hard for the entire family, I can’t imagine what it would be like to be recently dumped, publicly chastized because of my weight, and then watch as my loving and loyal dog is stolen in front of my eyes by a coyote!!

How tragic!

To a lot of people a pet is just like a family member, I know when we lost Riley, our Bernese Mountain Dog to cancer last year my entire family was devastated! It took us an entire year to grieve and finally feel ready another puppy (pictures will follow shortly).

I did not appreciate Martha Stewart and her cold comments on how Jessica should have “been more careful” and that she should just go ahead and “get another dog.”

You can’t replace a loved one with someone or something else! Grow a heart Martha!!

Pets require proper grieving time, just like human’s do because to some people a pet is all they have.

I am team Jessica and although I hate to admit that the coyote prob saw the last of her pooch, I will support her in her efforts to search for her dog and will forgive her if she packs on a couple lbs. in her attempt to grieve.

Sarah Michelle Gellar announced that she gave birth to a daughter over the weekend.

Dad is actor Freddie Prinze Jr.

The happy couple named their daughter Charlotte.
